How We Do It

Annual Charity Golf Tournament

Madisonation is a non-for-profit organization to continue the fight against childhood cancer. Our annual golf tournament donates proceeds to local organizations helping others or families that have a child currently fighting or this horrible disease.

01. Golf Tournament

Compete with up to 35 other foursomes in a Best Ball 18-hole golf tournament at LeRoy Country Club loaded with mini-games such as Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, and Hole in One prizes – everyone has a chance to win!

02. Food and Drinks

Enjoy lunch at the turn at the clubhouse for free, followed by a “cool down” after golf at the banquet facility with an open draft and soda bar plus cash bar. Close the day out with an included buffet style dinner for the awards, raffle and check presentation.

03. Prizes and Drawings

Come prepared to participate in the Chinese Auction for any of dozens of prizes, win door prizes from our generous donors, and enter to win sports collectibles donated by our local professional sports teams and prizes from local businesses.

Our Mission

Why We Fight

Every year, an estimated 250,000 new cases of cancer affect children under the age of 20 worldwide. That’s almost 700 new kids affected every day. One in every 285 children in the United States will be diagnosed with cancer by the time they are just twenty years of age. Approximately two thirds of childhood cancer patients will have long-lasting chronic conditions resulting from their cancer treatment.

Childhood cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children under 19 in the United States, yet childhood cancer research receives just 4% of the annual budget from the National Cancer Institute.

Our Objective

Who We Fight For

Madisonation “Never Give Up” was a motto we have had with Madison since the night she was diagnosed. The night we found out she had cancer, Madison was wearing her John Cena (still her favorite wrestler) “Never Give Up” t-shirt. One of the hospital employees admitting her noticed her shirt and told her to “never give up” just like her shirt said. Since then we have stuck to that motto and we will continue to. Not only for Madison but for all children suffering from cancer.
